WeatherPower 2025 Year In Review
A fast, chaotic, and insanely productive year for WeatherPower, the live radar, and everything around it.

A Year That Moved at Lightning Speed

If 2024 felt quick, 2025 said “watch this.” This year went by faster than a severe thunderstorm warning refresh. One moment it was the start of the year, and the next I was deep in winter overlays, live radar tweaks, and 2026 revamp planning.

2025 wasn’t just busy – it was the year WeatherPower truly started to feel like a full ecosystem instead of just “a weather site.” Live radar, overlays, WeBot, viewer dots, scanners, dashboards… everything leveled up together.

Major WeatherPower Milestones

  • 24/7 Live Radar Stream – WeatherPower officially went live on stream with real-time radar, warnings, and a fully custom overlay.
  • Overlay v2 Glow-Up – New icons, better layouts, smoother behavior, and themed modes like Severe Mode and Winter Mode.
  • Smarter WeBot – WeBot now reacts to new warnings, moves the map, and talks about storms instead of just sitting in the corner.
  • Viewer Dots & Counters – People can drop their location on the radar, and WeatherPower tracks how many are watching in real time.
  • Admin & Ops Tools – Better WeWatch controls, photo submission dashboards, and admin-only radar logic for managing events.
  • Deeper Integrations – Improved warning engines, scanner intelligence, and map integrations that make WeatherPower feel like a command center instead of just a page.

Seasonal Themes & UI Revamps

2025 turned WeatherPower’s look into something way more polished. From winter and Christmas themes to severe-weather accents, the entire platform started to match the live overlay vibe: clean, modern, and built to sit on a screen for hours.

Icons were refreshed, mobile layouts improved, and the overall design now feels more like a full product than a simple project. And even with all that, 2026 is still aiming to raise the bar again.

The 2025 WeatherPower Playlist

Most of WeatherPower’s late-night sessions were powered by modern country. On repeat: Kidd G, Chase Matthew, Austin Williams, Morgan Wallen, Jay Webb, and more.

Spotify basically had to build a whole “Top Country 2025” playlist just to keep up with the amount of times I looped half these songs while fixing bugs and rebuilding layouts.

WeatherPower 2026 & Beyond

The next big milestone is the WeatherPower 2026 Revamp, dropping on March 13, 2026. The plan: a cleaner, more modern design across the whole ecosystem, smoother performance, better automation, and an even tighter connection between the live overlay, the site, and everything behind the scenes.

2025 moved fast, but it built the foundation for what comes next. This year was about getting the systems online. 2026 is about making them feel effortless.
